Doman is one of the leading suppliers of building materials in North America. The redesign of its website will serve to consolidate its various brands and strengthen its market position.
Challenge
Our main challenge was to deliver a geolocated, multilingual website for various regions in North America, fully migrating the content from the old site, and strictly adhering to WCAG 2.2 standards, all within very tight deadlines.
Solution
To effectively meet Doman's needs, we opted for an Agile project management approach, working closely with the client's branding partner. We used an automated content migration method from WordPress to Craft, minimizing manual handling and ensuring data integrity. Throughout the development process, our accessibility specialist conducted continuous site audits, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.2 standards from launch.
Results
The website redesign was enthusiastically received by users and stakeholders. Geolocation and multilingualism were seamlessly implemented, offering an improved user experience across all served regions. Compliance with WCAG 2.2 standards was a key success factor, ensuring the site's accessibility for all users, including those with specific needs.
Collaboration
We are working on a maintenance proposal to support the site in its future developments.
